Carlos Sainz will start tomorrow’s Monaco Grand Prix from the pitlane for missing a weigh-in during qualifying at the weighbridge.

The Spaniard would’ve started P8 without the penalty – out-qualifying his team mate, Max Verstappen, by 0.02 seconds.

The penalty comes after he was called to the weighbridge for a second time, this time after qualifying had finished.
