Grosjean celebrates 100th Grand Prix in Austin

This weekend’s Grand Prix will mark Romain Grosjean’s 100th Grand Prix start, an impressive milestone to reach especially in a time where drivers are chopped and changed on a yearly basis.

The Frenchmen’s Formula One career started in Valencia in 2009, where he replaced Nelson Piquet at Renault after the French team dismissed Piquet half way trough the season leaving Grosjean seven races to prove himself. Unfortunately for Grosjean, he didn’t do enough in those seven races to earn a full-time drive.

Finally after several successful years away from Formula One in 2012 Grosjean got his chance again, this time for the newly branded Lotus F1 team.

In a career spanning seven years to date, Grosjean has had various ups and downs and we have picked just a few of these to put together a slideshow documenting his continued Formula One journey.
