It was another positive session for reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton who was the fastest man in second practice at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in Brazil.
Hamilton ended the day just 0.030s clear of his Mercedes teammate. The 31-year-old has never won in Brazil but will be needing to do so this weekend if he is to stand any chance of winning a fourth F1 drivers’ title.
The surprise of the session was the two Williams duo. Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa were third and fourth fastest respectively.

After impressing in FP1, Red Bull will be slightly disappointed with their showing in second practice, considering they ended the session behind both Williams drivers.
The Ferrari duo of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen endured another lacklustre session at Interlagos and ended the day in seventh and eighth respectively.
Nico Hulkenberg and Jenson Button rounded out the top 10. Both McLarens ran into technical troubles half way through the long runs with 30 minutes to go meaning both drivers could only complete 18 and 19 laps each.
The Toro Rossos were 12th and 13th fastest, leading Sergio Perez, who struggled for pace in the Force India. Romain Grosjean was 15th fastest ahead of Kevin Magnussen, Felipe Nasr, Esteban Ocon and Jolyon Palmer.
Esteban Gutierrez, Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein were the three slowest runners in second practice.
