“Tough day in the office” for Evans

Jaguar’s Mitch Evans had a “tough day in the office” in Marrakesh after early contact with Loic Duval left the New Zealander with a recovery drive for the remainder of the inaugural Marrakesh ePrix.

Despite the frustrations, there were positives for the team as both drivers managed to finish this race, providing the team with more data to analyse heading into the next round in Buenos Aires.

Summing up his day, Evans said it was a “tough day in the office in Marrakesh. I had frustrating start of the race after contact with Loïc Duval which put me out of position. I then spent the rest of the race trying to recover.”

“It’s a shame about the race but that’s racing and the main thing is that we now have further data to analyse and digest during the gap to the next race,” added Evans. “Hopefully, the break won’t feel too long as I’m already looking forward to racing in Buenos Aires in February.”
