Renault reveals new 2017 F1 car

Renault is the third team to reveal its new 2017 car ahead of the new season.

In a live event which was broadcast on the team’s social media channels, Renault launched its new car dubbed the R.S.17.

Similar to last year, Renault has maintained the prominent yellow colour with black on the sides.

Jolyon Palmer remains with the team after a solid rookie season while former Williams and Sauber driver Nico Hulkenberg makes the move from Force India.

The French manufacturer endured a difficult return to the sport after the late takeover of the Lotus team in 2015. Renault finished just ninth in the constructors’ championship in 2016 with just eight points on the board.

Renault will be able to test their new car on Monday as testing gets underway at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
